Sclerotherapy
What Is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is a safe, minimally invasive treatment used to reduce and eliminate unwanted spider veins on the legs. A special solution is injected directly into the affected veins, causing them to collapse and fade as the body naturally reabsorbs them over time.

Results
-
When will I see results?
Results develop gradually, with treated veins beginning to fade after 3–6 weeks. -
How long do results last?
Once veins are treated, they won’t return. However, new veins may develop over time, which can be treated with maintenance sessions if needed.
Aftercare & Risks
Following treatment, some mild redness, bruising, or itching may occur at the injection sites. These effects are temporary and usually settle within a few days.
To support healing and achieve the best results:
-
Wear compression stockings for at least 2 weeks to aid circulation and healing
-
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and swimming pools for 1–2 weeks
-
Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours post-treatment
-
Keep the treated area out of direct sunlight to minimise the risk of pigmentation
